Refund Policy

No Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of Bookstock AI and the immediate access provided upon subscription, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds for subscription fees already paid.

Why No Refunds?

Bookstock AI provides immediate, full access to all features upon subscription. Unlike physical products that can be returned, digital services are consumed instantly upon access. Once you have used the analysis tools and received insights on your inventory data, the value of the service has been delivered.

Free Trial / Free Tier

We offer a free tier that allows you to evaluate Bookstock AI before committing to a paid subscription. We strongly encourage you to use this free access to ensure the service meets your needs before upgrading to a paid plan.

During the open beta period (until 28th February 2026), all features are available free of charge, giving you ample opportunity to test the full capabilities of the service. If you subscribe during the beta, your first payment will be charged on 1st March 2026.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will retain access to all paid features until the subscription expires
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused time in the billing period

Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Duplicate charges due to technical errors
  • Charges made after a valid cancellation was processed
  • Extended service outages (more than 72 consecutive hours)

We may, at our sole discretion, provide a credit or refund. Please contact us through our contact page to discuss any billing issues.

Consumer Guarantees Act (New Zealand)

If you are a consumer under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, this policy does not limit your statutory rights. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill, be fit for purpose, and match their description. If we fail to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Act.

If you are acquiring the Service for business purposes, you acknowledge that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.

How to Cancel

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Log in to your Bookstock AI account
  2. Navigate to Account settings
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Confirm your cancellation
